I want to be a L'Belionnaire.....

.....SO freakin' bad!!!

February is the month that I have decided to challenge myself even more with L'Bel.  By midnight on February 29, 2012 I WILL become a Beauty Manager with L'Bel.  Not, I want to be.....but I WILL BE

L'Bel changed my life in August of 2011.  What started as a way to supplement income has been a lifechanging opportunity.  I have met amazing women who inspire me to do well everyday.  I mean, EV'RY DAY!  Just knowing each of them encourages and inspires me.

My journey with L'Bel began with a pretty rocky start.

I tried "direct selling" in October of 2010 with another party-based company.  After going down to a one income family when our second child was born we were looking for some ways to make money without having to put her in daycare.

At the time that I was introduced to Park Lane, my daughter was about 10 months old.  I thought working with this company would give me the opportunity to get out of the house, interact with grown ups and make some extra money to help take some of the pressure off of my husband.  And it did.

But at the end of the day, women just weren't inclined to buy jewelry for themselves in this economy - at least the women I approached.  I decided Park Lane Jewelry just wasn't for me.

After thinking about starting my own handmade gifts and accessories boutique for a long time, I finally made it happen in May of 2011.  (Shameless Plug :: Check out my other baby, Bugaroo Boutique.)  In August, I was invited to be a vendor at a networking event for business women.  At that vendor show I was introduced to the L'Bel products, met the Eastern Regional Sales Manager and US Director of Field Development.

I researched the business opportunity and thought that with a consumable product, it would probably be easier to sell than jewelry.  I enrolled about a week after the vendor show.

At first I felt a bit lost - I knew nothing about the beauty industry.  I like makeup and back in my "hayday" I was pretty good at getting all gussied up and looking cute.  Matter of fact, I never really went anywhere without makeup and the perfect accessories.

But let's be realistic.  I'm a Mother of two amazing children, Wife to the most amazing man who has ever looked my way and that's a lot.  My uniform now is yoga pants and ratty t-shirts.  I wash my hair once a week and the likelihood that my legs get shaved "just because" is well, they don't.  I thought to myself, "What have I gotten myself into?!"

And then I started attending meetings, calling my sponsor and -- uh, dare I say -- TRYING!  Now all of a suddent I am cleansing and toning my face.  I use a moisturizer.  I put makeup on just because I can.  I carry samples in my tote bag and catalogs in my car.  I try to engage people and introduce them to our amazing product line and even more incredible business opportunity.

If I've approached you about L'Bel -- either as becoming a new team member or just trying the products -- it's not just for the sale.  It's because L'Bel changed my life and I know it can change yours, too.
